Mental Health Therapist

Role Overview
This is a part-time or full-time, exempt position reporting directly to the Director of Therapy. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality clinical care and maintaining precise documentation in accordance with Minnesota DHS standards and company policy.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive Diagnostic Assessments and provide accurate DSM-V diagnoses.
- Develop and oversee individualized treatment plans that prioritize client safety and specific therapeutic goals.
- Maintain weekly progress notes that align with treatment plans and clinical objectives.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team in weekly clinical meetings to review patient progress.
- Coordinate care with other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to patient wellness.
Professional Development & Training
- Stay at the forefront of clinical practice by engaging with current professional research and techniques.
- Complete mandatory continuing education courses to maintain Minnesota State licensure.
- Participate in regular staff meetings and specialized in-house training sessions.
Qualifications
- Required: Master’s degree from an accredited university in behavioral health.
- Licensure: Licensed Mental Health Professional (LICSW, LMFT, LPCC, or LP) or eligible Clinical Trainee pursuing licensure in Minnesota.
- Experience: Preferred two years working with high-risk adult populations.
- Skills: Strong documentation skills, ability to meet caseload requirements, and a deep empathy for those dealing with substance abuse and mental illness.
