Background
Michelle earned her Bachelor’s degree in Social Work from the College of St. Scholastica, where she also obtained a Medical certificate in May 2013. Additionally, she pursued specialized training in Chemical Dependency from Fon du Lac Tribal and Community College in 2015, further enriching her expertise in addiction counseling.
Joining WebMed in October 2023, Michelle brings with her extensive experience spanning 11 years in the field of Substance Use Disorder (SUD) treatment. Her professional journey has included six years of working with adults and five years dedicated to supporting children and adolescents in their recovery journeys.
As a BSW (Bachelor of Social Work) and LADC, Michelle embodies a holistic approach to counseling, recognizing the interconnectedness of physical, emotional, and social factors in addiction recovery. She believes in meeting clients where they are in their journey and providing personalized, evidence-based interventions to support their unique needs and goals..
