Background
Karissa brings a wealth of nursing experience and a strong educational background to her role at WebMed. Graduating with a bachelor’s degree from St. Scholastica and later earning her Master’s degree from Walden University, she has continually pursued opportunities for growth and learning in the field of healthcare.
Prior to joining WebMed in May of 2021, Karissa gained valuable experience in various nursing roles. As an ECT-RN at a local hospital, she provided specialized care to patients undergoing electroconvulsive therapy. Her previous RN positions in the community, including working with the Assertive Community Treatment (ACT) team in Carlton County, as well as in inpatient chemical dependency (CD) treatment and inpatient behavioral health, have equipped her with a diverse skill set and a deep understanding of patient care across different settings.
Karissa’s extensive background in nursing and her dedication to supporting individuals in their journey towards wellness make her a valuable asset to the WebMed team. Her commitment to providing high-quality care and her wealth of experience enrich the services offered by WebMed, ensuring that patients receive comprehensive and compassionate support.
