Personal Mission Statement

To be a lifelong learner and constantly strive for personal growth and development.

Background

“Bre,” joined the WebMed team in the fall of 2021 after working with adult females in an inpatient residential chemical dependency facility. She is from Wisconsin with a soft spot for Minnesota. She received her Bachelors in Art Therapy from the University of Wisconsin-Superior in 2018. She gained experience leading therapeutic art groups for survivors of domestic violence, sexual assault and child abuse. She then went on to obtain her Master of Science in Education degree in Clinical Mental Health in December 2020. Bre is an LGBTQ+ advocate and has a passion for working with individuals who are experiencing stressful transitions, body image issues, trauma, grief, shame, and personality disorders. She is trained in Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART), which is a trauma based intervention utilized to reprocess distressing images and sensations associated with stressful events. Adhering to a person-centered and strength-based approach, Bre believes that clients are the experts of their own lives and utilizes therapeutic interventions tailored to fit her clients’ needs. The modalities she utilizes are influenced by Narrative therapy, Internal Family Systems, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, and Existential Therapy. Bre is a cat mom of three who appreciates time connecting with nature and her loved ones. She is the Duluth Outreach Coordinator and runs a clinical community book club.
